Milaaya Embroideries employs around 300 artisans directly and another 1000 are subcontracted. During Covid, many of these artisans who originally come from different parts of India had to go back home from Mumbai as there was no way they could sustain here. Milaaya arranged transports for many who could go back, but there were a lot of artisans who were stuck in Mumbai and their safety was Milaaya’s primary responsibility. Milaaya Embroideries organized food packages, essentials and stay for them.

We at Milaaya Embroideries, joined hands with the ‘Helping Hands Foundation’ and donated masks to the underprivileged.

We also donated around 10,000 masks made of excess fabrics to Mumbai civic authorities.
